The other day I saw something striking. While driving back to my home, in front of me a boy's cap fell down. It tossed about and settled in the middle of the road. The boy was travelling on a scooter with his grandfather driving it and grandmother sitting pillion. Suddenly a truck approached from behind. The truck driver saw the cap at the nick of the moment and swerved the truck. He himself escaped an accident by doing so. The act made me wonder. Two unknown people became connected by their feelings. They knew the importance of a cap.Their struggles and triumphs vanished in that single moment. The eyes of the boy told it all. He was thankful from the bottom of his heart for the act by the truck driver.I was thankful for the fact that humanity still exists in the country. You don't need a fancy education degree for it.May god shower his blessings upon both those souls. My day was made!

Seeker!
In the empty glass,
I seek a water full.
In the frosty grass,
I seek my sunshine.
In the teary eyes,
I seek a happy person.
In the murky waters,
I seek a clear vision.
In times of camaraderie,
I seek a full life.
In the listless tunes of heart,
I seek a mesmerizing song.
In the hope of day,
I seek a sound sleep at night.
In the beautiful moments with god,
I seek a meeting with respite.
I seek a water full.
In the frosty grass,
I seek my sunshine.
In the teary eyes,
I seek a happy person.
In the murky waters,
I seek a clear vision.
In times of camaraderie,
I seek a full life.

The Mobile Generation
Ever seen two people meet? There is complete possibility that they will say 'hello' and start texting their friends. Its downright offensive when you have gone to a restaurant to have a good dinner and enjoy the company and you pick up your mobile for texting/calling. Reason? Nothing! You are apparently too bored of everything about the person in front of you. His face, which wants to say something, looks depressing to you.
Thus, the evening passes and more than the food, what one eats is the texts on the mobile.
Another scenario is when people are walking. Yeah. Simply walking. They look in their pockets and pick out the mobile from there. The neck then dives in and instead of looking straight, all one does is look towards the mobile. On that small glowing screen are maybe written words which will make a person rich in ten seconds.Or maybe less. Its a precarious situation when one is crossing the road looking at his/her cell only. The vehicle driver will understand and swerve, not me. On top of that, many people while driving their vehicles keep an ear glued to their mobiles. If an accident happens, the sole culprit is the mobile.Nothing else.
Mobile usage is undoubtedly important. It is helpful too but only if it is used wisely. Otherwise god's gift of life is wasted.Sadly, the people are hell bent on bringing their doom fast.

Employee's Nightmare
There goes my boss,
With a wave of his hand.
No files to attend,
Only my head left to bend.
Status of job he asks,
Knowing well about pending tasks.
I say pending still and look down,
In my ears, ring his laughing sound.
Day after day,his face remains same,
I resemble a bird becoming a fair game.
Ask for a leave and his look goes sore,
Banishing him from thoughts isn't a bore.
God bless his soul,
One left with so little a goal.
In my grief his joy does reside,
I don't need a valley for I have long died.
A game now needs to be played,
One which will bring equality to life.
Till then my nightmares will occur,
In the edges of a sharpened knife.
With a wave of his hand.
No files to attend,
Only my head left to bend.
Status of job he asks,
Knowing well about pending tasks.
I say pending still and look down,

Untouchable
The water trickles on the window,
The path to be taken not yet known.
Escaping getting cut by glass,
Absorbing its fate and moving on.
Memories of my life rush past me,
Of fulfillment in the empty company.
Giddy by the sweet wine I feel,
Knowing now the wound is deep to heal.
An untouchable labelled in youth,
Living by polishing other people's boot.
A coin and a mound of dirt in return,
The heart and stomach getting equally burnt.
The pavement becoming my world,
My society of loneliness in days of crowd.
I was normal yet my cries were muffled,
My mouth wasn't bent yet I got stifled.
Clothes became crumpled,as did the face,
Sun set soon upon a life of perceived disgrace.
The wind blew many times on my hardened face,
The night fell many times upon the sleeping grace.
Talking in the harshest tone of anger,
Life of self was destroyed by hunger.
The rain makes my cloth soggy and I fall,
Burdened by weight of the evil society which grew tall.
The path to be taken not yet known.
Escaping getting cut by glass,
Absorbing its fate and moving on.

Of fulfillment in the empty company.

Fighting Fate
She walks with a smile,
With a dagger in her heart.
People stare at her full,
Their eyes getting a head start.
Every turn she takes,
A whistling sound stranger makes.
To shout or to just let go,
She confronts her reality really slow.
Her gestures make her human,
Yet nobody feels so in the crowd.
She absorbs the smirk and bitterness,
For she is but a woman amongst men.
Daily with an upbeat mood she wakes up,
Daily with a sombre mood she falls asleep.
Her life is dissected through the middle time,
No heart spared even if she is one of our own.
She walks in the hope to live,
With a deadly attacker stalking her move.
Her male friends might turn amorous,
Who anticipates a hammer hurting a groove.
With her are her parents,
With her is almighty.
She will conquer life one day,
You bet,she will be victorious in her stay!
With a dagger in her heart.
People stare at her full,
Their eyes getting a head start.
Every turn she takes,
A whistling sound stranger makes.
To shout or to just let go,

Safe Driving!!
How far have we come in our journey? Not much, I would think. The state of driving on Indian roads is,well, a living nightmare. How many times have we edged out our fellow rider to cross the finish line of a railway crossing! We smirk when we gain an advantage and when we overtake we are overjoyed. As if that is what we were born for!
No one has time to look in both directions to cross the road. You just look straight. The drivers of vehicles be damned. Its their mistake if they collide into you and you fall, not yours. I mean, seriously, what is wrong with people in the country. Traffic sense has gone for a liberal toss.Inaction has led to courageous action from tormentors. They cut lanes and brake right in front of your vehicle. If you don't hit the brake then and there, your vehicle is doomed. So are you! Its a sad ordeal. Going to a marketplace is a big headache. Its better if all things are delivered at doorstep, work from home culture spruced up etc. That's what majority of the guys think. Time and again,we see a crowd gathering around two folks whose vehicles have rammed into each other. No one is willing to give an inch. Expletives are hurled and deflected.Entire operations of nearby shopkeepers come to a halt. Its the great indian tamasha. There is no way out. Or is there??
We have to first of all, live in a civilized state of mind. Passing the buck won't help. If its your fault, admit it. If its not, then don't indulge in mindless sledging.Nothing is more important than life. People overshoot signals just because they are getting late. Everything can wait. Your boss won't beat you blue if you turn up five mins late. You would still be given entry to your house if you go a little late. The movie can always be replayed at home. The reality cant be done so. Safe driving is the need of the hour.Cutting lanes, honking incessantly and overtaking for the heck of it certainly doesn't help. It's time to change our road culture. Big time!
